Walker's Holdings International - Gun Loading Facility (GLF) in a Sea Can

Walker’s has engineered its patented GLF technology and now offers our GLF module in a Sea-Can. The shipping container serves as an envelope to contain the Walker's GLF or GSF (Loaded Gun Storage Facility) module.

The GLF and GSF not only secure explosives and protect assets, it provides an ability to efficiently receive, load and store perforating guns ready for deployment.

The general function of a Sea Can Gun Loading Facility (SGLF) and Sea Can Loaded Gun Storage Facility (SGSF) is to provide an efficient Gun Loading and Loaded Gun Storage operation in secure vault like structures that can be deployed globally.  

The SGLF is also designed to mitigate the effects of an accidental explosion in the event of an unplanned detonation reducing risk to unrelated personnel and third party assets.

The Sea Can Gun Storage Facility is similar to the Sea Can Gun Loading Facility except it has no loading table and storage racks are on both sides of the building. Set up end to end with the SGLF it functions as a full loading and storage operation.

The general function of a Sea Can Gun Loading Facility (SGLF) and Sea Can Loaded Gun Storage Magazine (SMAG) is to provide a efficient Gun Loading station in a secure vault like structure that can be deployed globally.   The (SGLF) is also designed to mitigate the effects of an accidental explosion in the event of an unplanned detonation reducing risk to unrelated personnel and third party assets.

Walker's Patented (GLF) and Gun Storage Facility (GSF) modular technology assists our customers to:

1. To economically deploy Gun Loading Facilities and Gun Storage Facilities on a world-wide basis thus providing a significant reduction in transportation cost compared to the larger GLF.
   
   
2. Provide a high security “vault” designed to contain/secure oilfield explosives, detonators and loaded guns in a structure designed by gun loaders and affirmed by regulatory approval.
   
   
3. To safely and efficiently load perforating guns anywhere in the world. Ensuring Quality control and process consistency wherever you may need to load your perforating guns.
   
   
4. Provide a safe SECURE structure that can be locked down when not in use and exceed explosive storage magazine standards. The (SGLF) is a bullet and blast resistant structure using armor plated HSS reinforced steel.
   
   
5. To comply with site specific safe distance standoffs & regulations.

The Methodology of the Walker's GLF and explosives storage MAG is to reduce the atmospheric pressure and contain debris from a pre-determined blast condition. Computational fluid dynamics modeling "specific to the Net Explosives Quantities (NEQ)" determines the safe distance required from the GLF or GSF.
